Project Description:

As part of the NSW Government’s plans for the ongoing maintenance and upgrade to our Public Infrastructure, Transport for NSW awarded a contract to Abi Civil for the upgrade of the Warabrook Railway Station located north of Wyong NSW.

These works form part of an overall strategy by the NSW Government’s Station Refresh Program in maintaining existing Infrastructure to a level that will continue to meet the increasing demands of our Public Transport.

Work on the Warabrook Station included:

  • Electrical - Dilapidation Reports / Lux Testing
  • General Structural – Dilapidation Reports
  • Concrete Repairs
  • Balustrade Upgrade
  • FRP Works
  • Minor Repairs to Station
  • Painting Works 
  • Garden Maintenance and landscaping
  • Toilet Refresh
  • Lighting upgrade to LED’s
  • Replacement of Station Furniture
  • Deep Cleaning
  • Bird Proofing

This project was one of our first direct engagements with Transport for NSW and forms part of our strategy in the sustainability of our business of becoming a contractor of choice for both private and Government sectors.

Abi Civil performed these works in accordance with stringent guidelines and conditions required of contractors working around and in a Rail corridor, with major considerations towards a strong focus on the safety of our employees and the public as our first priority.
